The Solari Report
Senator Frank Niceley
When we think of the qualities needed to be considered a true statesman, no politician fits the bill so much as Senator Niceley. A true visionary, Senator Niceley’s wisdom and experience allows him to not only identify the dangers TN may face in the future, but also introduce legislation to protect against such threats. We invite you to get to know Frank a bit better with the information below.
Get to Know Frank
Senator Frank Niceley’s life and family history is deeply embedded in East Tennessee. Frank is the direct descendent of five veterans of the Revolutionary War buried in the 8th District. One of those ancestors was the doorkeeper to the first Tennessee General Assembly which established our state. Frank’s love of Tennessee History has earned him a reputation as the unofficial Senate historian. First elected to the State Senate in 2012, Senator Niceley ran promising to protect family farms, fiscal responsibility, low taxes, and fighting federal government overreach. Slightly more than a decade later, Tennessee is widely recognized as one of the best-run states in our nation.
Frank has been married to his wife Cyndie for over fifty years and has four children. He has been a farmer for five decades in Strawberry Plains, TN and is thankful to be able to serve the people of the 8th senate district.
His accomplishments have repeatedly earned him ‘Solari Hero of the Week’. In 2023, he was also our ‘Hero of the Year’.
