Aa we mentioned last week, this Thursday we’ll be having our April legislative briefing. We had a few people reach out asking for a form letter to send their legislators/elected officials inviting them to the meeting. Please feel free to use the below:
Hi x,
I'm x and live in x and am a member of the Solari organization. Solari is hosting zoom briefings once a month for legislators and their staff on a variety of topics. The month’s briefing is on Thursday, April 10th, from 2:00–4:00 PM ET and will discuss the ongoing push for Constitutional Convention (Con-Con).
Catherine Austin Fitts, Solari founder, and Tim Caban will be joined by Joe Wolverton of the John Birch Society for this briefing. The John Birch Society warns that a Con-Con could become a "runaway convention," with no guarantee it would remain limited in scope. There are no clear rules to prevent drastic changes, and history shows that conventions can go beyond their original purpose. Powerful special interests could influence the process, putting our Bill of Rights at risk. The real issue isn't a flawed Constitution but a failure to follow it. Instead of opening the door to unpredictable changes, we should focus on enforcing the Constitution as written. They will discuss these concerns in depth during our April briefing and have time for a Q&A.
