For the month of August we're taking a break from our legislative briefings and focusing on finalizing our revised draft of our model legislation to put legislative guardrails on programmable money. This is important, especially now that we know that we want to protect against programmability applied to your stocks and bonds and bank deposits, not just stablecoins. We appreciate everyone who has joined us as we've explored topics ranging from digital gold and cash to programmable money and the growing importance of state action in protecting financial freedom. If you have not taken advantage of these excellent briefings, you can find them all posted here: https://ft2freedom.solari.com/monthly-briefings/
We'll return in September with two briefings.
On September 10, we'll discuss The Right to a Non-Digital Life, exploring what it means to preserve the ability to live, work, travel, and participate in society without being forced into digital-only systems. Then, on September 24, we'll host a second briefing focused on the latest updates to our programmable money model legislation. You will be able to access it online and forward or print copies to send to your legislative representatives. We'll also examine why stablecoins deserve the same careful scrutiny as central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), including the similarities in how both technologies can enable financial transaction control if appropriate safeguards are not established.
We're also pleased to announce that our Programmable Money Wrap-Up is now available on Solari.com. If you're not yet a Solari subscriber and would like access to the online version now, as well as future research and subscriber-only content, you can become a subscriber by visiting Solari.com. In addition, Solari subscribers will be receiving a printed hard copy of the wrap-up sometime after Labor Day. Copies will also be available through our store for subscribers, including volume discounts for those who want to send copies to their allies, state representatives, local officials, and local media.
We hope you enjoy the remainder of the summer, and we look forward to seeing you again in September as we continue advancing Financial Transaction Freedom together.
In freedom,
The Solari Team |
